An agency-built site

A good agency designs the site, builds it, hosts it and changes it when you ask. The cost is time and money for every change: a ticket, a wait, a quote. Many businesses stop asking, and the site goes out of date.

yoflow

yoflow is a website editor and builder on your own GitHub, Cloudflare and AI accounts. You make the changes yourself on the page, or instruct your AI. The site stays in your accounts.

The three biggest differences

Who changes it

yoflow: You, your AI, or your agency.

An agency-built site: The agency, when they get to it.

Who builds new pages

yoflow: You or your AI, or your agency with theirs.

An agency-built site: The agency, quoted per job.

Where the site lives

yoflow: Your GitHub and Cloudflare accounts.

An agency-built site: The agency's hosting, usually.

"Agency-built" describes the usual arrangement, not any one firm.

yoflow fits if

  • You want to make changes yourselves when you want to
  • You want the site in your own accounts, whoever works on it
  • You want to keep your agency and work alongside them

An agency-built site fits if

  • You want someone else to make every change
  • You're happy with the site on the agency's hosting
